If you have some plain paper and washi tape in your stash, make a washi tape Christmas card – it’s so easy and only takes a few minutes!
Since I work with paper every day, it’s no surprise that I love making my own cards. It’s hard to justify paying money for something that I can make.
A card will make someone feel a lot better just because they knew I took the extra time and care, at least that’s how I look at it. Using washi tape, here’s a simple yet festive card you can make this holiday season.
Washi Tape Christmas Cards
Here’s what you’ll need to make a Christmas card:
- Washi Tape Sheets
- Cardstock
- Circle Hole Punchers
- Micron Pen
Using the circle hole punchers, cut out circles for the card. I used two different size punchers for two different size circles.
Take the blank card. Peel off the backing of a circle and place it on the front.
Continue with the other circles and create a staggered pattern.
Use the micron pen to draw a string and bow attached to each circle. Now you have a fantastic ornament Christmas card ready to give to someone special!
If you try making washi tape Christmas cards, I’d love to know in the comments. Tell me how easy they are . . .
